Abstract :
The improved variant of the Gelpsilafand-Levitan method demonstrating faster speed of reconstruction in comparison with the ldquoclassicalrdquo one is proposed. A modification of the Newton-Kantorovich method for permittivity profile reconstruction of stratified dielectric is proposed. Factors having influence on duration and precision of profile reconstruction by these two methods are noted.
