Strategic IT framework for modern enterprise by using information technology capabilities

Information technology in the digital era has become important in most of the corporations nowadays and is treated as a major competitive tool for success. The paper aims to design and construct key concepts and a framework for an effective information technology based competitive tool for an enterprise. A new perspective for information technology is being proposed due to the rapid change of technology development. This concept of technological capability (THIO) and the competitive advantage are presented in this paper across the information technology as well as showing the linkages of the THIO to the application of information technology as a strategic tool for future enterprises.
