Abstract :
In this paper, a low-voltage wideband folded-cascode low noise amplifier (LNA) with inductive drain feedback is designed for multi-standard applications with operation frequency ranging from 1.8 GHz to 5 GHz. The LNA is based on the TSMC 0.18-um RF CMOS process. Two negative feedback paths are adopted to enhance the bandwidth. The measurement results show the performances of S21 above 8.5 dB and noise finger below 4.6 dB. The whole circuit of LNA is supplied by a single 0.8 V voltage source. The power consumption is 16 mW. The chip area is 1.043 mmtimes1.215 mm.
