Abstract
In this work we consider the interference between femtocells in a High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) system. When no specific interference management technique is applied the performance, measured in terms of HSDPA throughput, is quite poor. A Zero Forcing Coordinated Base Station Transmission scheme is proposed as a solution to cancel interference. The simulations in representative scenarios show that the desired throughputs can be achieved when all femtocells exploit common knowledge of channel state and user data.
