Abstract :
The propagation of electromagnetic waves in the waveguide of arbitrary cross section with anisotropic magnetoactive plate of finite thickness is considered. The wave equation for the potential of the transverse-magnetic (TM) field in the waveguide is received. The analytic method of solution of this equation is given. Fresnel formulas and power reflection and transmission coefficients for the plate are obtained.
