Abstract
A formula for the propagation constant of a two-dimensional trapezoidal corrugated strip line (TCSL) is obtained with impedance approximation. A finite elements method is used to build a mathematical model of a resonator with TCSL inside. This model is used to investigate TCSL characteristics in dependence on frequency, width, groove depth and period of TCSL. The results of numerical experiments were compared to analytical ones.
