Abstract :
2D Veselago lens with TE waves excited by a delta source is considered analytically and numerically. New field presentation as a series of eigen modes is proposed. This presentation allows one to study analytically field transformation when the lens material parameters are close to minus unit. Width of focal spot was analytically evaluated. Stability of effect of super resolution was studied.
