Abstract :
In this paper, the analysis of the planar boundaries containing positive and negative index media by using transmission line modeling method is presented. This method is based on the similarity between the basic equations for uniform plane waves propagating through the boundaries and waves traveling across the connections of transmission lines. At the end of the analysis, it is observed that the proposed method is easier, faster and more straightforward than the conventional method.
