Abstract :
A novel power converter for converting a three-phase AC voltage into a single-phase variable frequency AC using only four switches is presented. The switches (lagging leg) in the resonant-boost converter operate under ZVS condition. A simple auxiliary circuit is used to provide ZVS for the switches in the leading leg. The operation of the power converter and the details of the control circuit are given. Simulation and experimental results obtained on a prototype converter are presented
