Abstract :
Dither and its application in A/D converter are briefly summarized. By analyzing the architecture of subranging flash A/D converter, the author establishes an A/D converter simulation system. In addition, a 12 bit, 65 MHz A/D converter testing system is set up for analyzing. The simulation and real testing results show that dither improves the static frequency dynamic range of high speed and high resolution A/D converters. The effects of dither on ADC are discussed and summarized
