Abstract :
Based on the fractional order sliding mode variable structure (FOSMVS) and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), a direct torque control (DTC) method is proposed for the speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). With fixed switch frequency, the proposed method reduces the torque and flux ripple, improves the speed control performance. The computer simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
