Abstract :
Traffic incident is easy to decrease the road capacity, it is one of the important reasons to increase the traffic delay and the exhaust emission; it is also the crucial factor to influence the security. Aiming at the difficulty to collect the field data under incident conditions and also the difficulty to repeat the incident conditions, in this paper, the research is carried out with microscopic traffic simulation model of car-following and lane-changing to study the basic rules of road traffic characteristics under incident conditions.
