  • Abstract
With the development of digital signal processor, there are more and more applications based on DSP devices. Nowadays a great deal of data needs to be processed in various kinds of systems, and furthermore, real-time capacity and precision demands are increasing. In our laser scanning system, two DSPs are adopted in order to control motor, acquire and process data conveniently and effectively. On the basis of system requirements, high-speed and reliable data communication between dual-DSP is the key technology. The characteristic and advantage of HPI (host port interface) can satisfy the demand of reliability and high-speed. In the paper a method of connection with HPI interface without extra logic components is introduced and dual-DSP´s high-speed data communication was implemented and verified by simulation.
