Abstract :
A new method is proposed to track the fundamental voltage in real-time in the power grid, which is applicable to power measurement. The proposed method is based on the concept of cascade FIR and improved teager energy operator. The frequency of cascade FIR can be changed with the frequency of the reference signal. A model of voltage in a power grid is constructed, the improved teager energy operator is proposed and the stability of the proposed method is discussed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulations.
