In the manufacturing industry, efficient management is an essential element in maintaining the competitive edge. In many small high tech companies, technology advantage is considered the key to success, while manufacturing management may be left with less attention, resulting in a long delivery time and poor production efficiency. This paper discusses the approach taken to identify the problems in a typical small company with superior products at the world level.
