Abstract :
This study analyzes electroquasistatic field behaviors of motor bearings in 2D in the time harmonic and transient case. It also develops an equivalent circuit model of motor bearings using numerical simulation results without considering the electrical breakdown of the lubricant film. Having subcircuit models of bearings, it is possible to couple bearings to system simulations containing motors, PWM inverters, cables.
