  • Abstract
Model-based, multivariable controllers can be made calibratable by using linear parameter-varying techniques. This opens the venue to use model-based controllers which outperform classical controllers in the automotive industry without changing the traditional way of designing control systems for the industry. An illustrative example is presented.
