  • Abstract
    This paper analyses the effects of the incremental of capital assets, annual average employment, the number of patents application, technology import and standards on economic growth of high technology industry from 1997 to 2006. Through the analysis of the impact of technology innovation and standardization on high technology industry, it expands traditional production function and assesses the impacts of these factors mentioned above. The results show that the contribution ratio of technology progress represented by the number of patents application, technology import and standards is 52%.The impact of the number of patents application on the growth of high technology industry is especially huge.
