Abstract
Once delineated the criteria followed to define main electrical distribution and propulsion systems configurations for the FREMM frigates, will be described the prerogatives of the peculiar and innovative architecture chosen in relation to ship operative profile, and will be outlined the system engineering activities to be carried out to guarantee a safe and efficient plant operation and to benefit from technical innovations adopted.
