  • Abstract
    A study of simulation for non-Gaussian sea surface by introducing into the wave profile equation a directional function feasible is presented. A classical finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) algorithm was applied to calculate the scattered field based upon the simulation sea surface data, however, a sample yet effective approach proposed to separate the scattered field from the total field influenced by the incidence wave; the effect is more evident. Then, the far field scattering coefficient is calculated and compared with that of integral equation model (IEM) method.
