Abstract :
In order to improve the remove-restore theory, a novel algorithm based on wavelet analysis has been proposed in this paper. Through the similarity comparison between earth gravity field model and terrain correction, it is found that the model gravity anomalies contain some of high-frequency signals caused by terrain. Given this, the wavelet analysis theory has been introduced here to extract high-frequency signals of gravity anomalies. And then, add this result and the terrain correction together to form the residual gravity anomaly. Finally, based on the gravity data, DEM data and EGM96 model of some region, a high-accuracy geoid height of the region has been calculated, which proves the feasibility and effectiveness of our approach.
