Abstract
Self-organization is an important topic in the design of LTE, e. g. [1]. The SOCRATES (Self-Optimisation and self-ConfiguRATion in wirelEss networkS) project develops selforganization methods for LTE radio networks (under the EU\´s 7th FP). As a contribution to self-configuration a concept coined soft integration is devised for the "Automatic Generation of initial Parameters" (use case AGP), which allows to automatically generate and tune radio parameters of eNodeBs in the course of their deployment. This paper outlines the concept as well as its demonstration. The demonstrator uses the SOCRATES\´ realistic network scenario, featuring a network layout, traffic distribution, and pathloss predictions obtained from a real network.
