Abstract
Visual inspection systems are widely used for assembling PCB inspection. In many cases, the systems employ sophisticated optical systems and their costs are very expensive. Also, the systems are very much specialized and cannot be used for wide variety of applications. To solve these problems, a multi-camera stereo vision systems has been introduced. A small measurement window is placed on the electrical components to be measured, and the 3-D shape of a object in the window is measured. The relative stereo method has been introduced to make the 3-D measurement. Here, the relative stereo is described. The experiment shows the effectiveness of the measurement.
