Abstract
This paper describes the application result of the observer-based design method for the loop control of bullblock drawing machines. The salient features of this design method are that the disturbance observer is constructed as a constitutive control loop without a conventional PI control loop and the system design is accomplished in a more consistently way than the method which uses the disturbance observer in addition to the conventional control.
