Abstract :
In the present work the optimum beamforming problem for correlated Rician MISO channels is solved in the context of a simple one-dimensional optimization problem. Simulations derived for linear equi-spaced arrays compare the capacity performance of the optimum beamformer with different transmission strategies (referred to as Max SNR Beamformer and Optimum Beamforming Diversity) and determine the parameters that affect performance.
