Abstract :
This paper deals with the analysis of the quasi-stationary electric field in a two-dimensional domain in the presence of advanced composite structures. Two possible numerical solutions exploiting a finite difference time domain method are proposed: the first one uses an explicit iterative scheme, the other an implicit scheme. The obtained results are compared between them and with those obtained using the ANSYS(R) package.
