Abstract :
Described is reduction method of measuring time to acquire 3-D image of standstill or moving objects utilizing the laser diode range-finding speedometer. The beam is scanned in 2-D plane by two plane mirrors. Because the scanning mirrors were replaced with lighter ones the delay time needed between two successive measuring points was reduced. And the measuring time of one point once was reduced by employing a higher modulation frequency and a higher speed computer. Consequently, the 3-D image was acquired in less than half of the measuring time until now
