  • Abstract
    There are numerous types of scientific imaging devices and video cameras available now. It is, however, often confusing, if one tries to pick up appropriate imaging devices or cameras for a specific application. Considering those problems, we have developed a computer simulation program that simulates actual images. This enables us to predict exactly how images look and give us an indication what characteristics need to be improved in order to meet certain criteria in the application. We expect that this image simulation program will help ease the systems feasibility study, and will also lead us to a better design of imaging device and video cameras
