Abstract :
A special computer used in CAMAC remote measurement system which designed especially for storing real-time remote measurement data whose speed is up to 2 Mbps is introduced in this paper. Distinguished from other ones, the special computer works alternately under the control of two kinds of bus structure, CAMAC and PC bus, and has enhanced the instantaneous writing speed of hard disk to 6.5 Mbps by means of alternately buffering to assure no loss real-time storage. To fit system needs, the special computer is made as a CAMAC module plugged in the CAMAC mainframe. Meanwhile, the storage data can be transferred to the data processing system by parallel communication interface of the special computer
