  • Abstract
    Crowd simulator is extensively studied in bioinformatics, computer graphics etc.. A novel real-time crowd simulator based on potential fields under complex environment has been proposed in this paper, which makes use of static local potential field, dynamic local potential field, local collision avoidance potential field and global potential field to deal with collision avoidance, dynamic interaction and global optimal navigation. Simulation results have shown that the proposed crowd model not only produces realistic crowds behavior but also improves simulation rate achieved by recent model by about 20%.
