Abstract :
This paper describes and demonstrates novel monolithic microwave ICs (MMICs) that are suitable for an integrated spectrum analyzer (SA) front end. The proposed MMICs; an up-converter, a down-converter and an active LC filter provide an ultra-wideband performance of 1-32 GHz to the front end as well as remarkable size reduction. These are the results of effective utilization of active signal combination, port isolation, impedance matching and impedance translation
