Abstract :
The paper introduces two control strategies for the switched reluctance motor drive. Models of the drive with the two control strategies based on the MATLAB SIMULINK toolbox are presented. The patterns in the models are introduced. The simulated rotor speed curves of the drive in starting with the two control strategies are given
