Abstract :
We present experimental results on an ultra-low drive power 8-channel variable optical attenuator array realized in a highly-integrated planar waveguide platform. The variable optical attenuator (VOA) array features an attenuation range of >25 dB with an applied electrical drive power of only 1.4 mW.
