Abstract

The effective transfer of software requirement knowledge is one of the key factors of decreasing the requirements volatility, solving conflicts between requirements, ensuring the quality of software project and customer satisfaction. From the point of knowledge management, this paper first classifies the software project requirement knowledge into 4 categories according to the knowledge sources from which software project development team acquires requirements. Then constructs the knowledge transferring model of requirement development and requirement management in software projects, and analyzes the major influencing factors during the requirement knowledge transferring process. At last the strategies that can promote the requirement knowledge transfer effectively are proposed.
