Abstract :
In the paper, a new deadbeat control system which employed the IMC structure. Based on traditional deadbeat control and linear algebra theory, we find out the general form of the non-minimum time deadbeat controller and the exact numerical relationship between the prolonged settling time and the reduction of the control input. Then we designed the feed-forword controller of the IMC structure, which can achieve the minimum time deadbeat control in the case of constrained control input. Simulation results show the dynamic performance, robustness and disturbance-rejection in the case of constrained control input are greatly improved.
