Abstract :
This paper presents a new parallel algorithm for solution of a large and dense Lyapunov matrix equation. The algorithm is based on an idea, entirely different from the ones available in the literature now both for parallel and sequential solutions of the problem. The preliminary modest test results show that the algorithm is efficient and accurate. Further studies are currently underway
