Abstract :
This paper concerns the universal speed controller for time-minimal and without overshoot speed control of DC motor. The nonlinear shape of speed controller characteristic was obtained with use dynamic programming approach on the basis of motor speed and motor current step responses. The motor current and speed responses could be periodical or non-periodical depending on the relationship between DC motor parameters. All the parameters relationships were considered. The speed controller is universal, because its is right not depending on the motor parameters relationships.
