  • Abstract
    With power electronic converter drives for a research object, the oscillation or vibration phenomena occurring in practical applications are analyzed in the paper. For the nonlinear-coupled oscillation, the mechanism and the control method are studied. A control strategy is proposed the paper. The control strategy is used to suppress hoist mechanical vibration and shaft winding-tower vibration. The effects of vibration or oscillation control are remarkable. It provides an available theoretical method to solve the problems of oscillation or vibration occurring in practical engineering
