Abstract
In this paper, a series of catalysts LaFexAl12-xO19 were prepared by co-precipitation, in which Fe ions was the active component. The structure and properties of LaFexAl12-xO19 were investigated by using BET, XPS, XRD techniques and activities of methane catalytic combustion. The aim of the work is the comprehension of the influence of Fe ions content on the structural, morphological, and catalytic activity of the materials. The results showed that the catalyst with good crystallinity was obtained after calcination under oxygen at 1200□. The amount of introduced iron has much effect on the properties of catalysts. Catalytic activity is strongly enhanced by iron incorporation. LaFexAl12-xO19 has the higher catalytic activity in methane combustion.
