Abstract :
Power supply quality is not a major issue for most electricity customers in the UK at present. Nevertheless, some experience genuine difficulties and steps are being taken to improve the service they receive. An increasing amount of attention is being paid to supply quality issues. The author describes how it is likely that better definitions of acceptable service levels will be developed and how OFFER will continue to be closely involved both in monitoring and setting standards for quality of supply.
