Abstract :
To build up integral SL system, a control system of vertical moving stage in the Integral SL system is established. The control system consists of small power stepper motor, movement control cards, driver of stepper motor, precision ball screw, linear guide. The motion accuracy of vertical moving stage in integral SL is an important factor which influences the building accuracy of the SL system. To elevate the building performance of the integral SL system, investigations of motion accuracy of vertical moving stage in integral SL has been conducted. According to accuracy testing method of NC machine, which is used to determine positioning and repositioning accuracy of the axes of NC machine, experiments has been carried out to test the positioning and repositioning accuracy of the vertical moving stage. The experiments results show that the positioning accuracy is 10.9um and the unidirectional repositioning accuracy is 10.8um when the vertical moving stage descends, the positioning and unidirectional repositioning accuracy is both 7.6um when the vertical moving stage ascends. The experiments results also demonstrate that the novel integral SL system has the capability of fabrication small objects with high accuracy.
