Abstract :
This paper presents a distributed impulsive consensus protocol for second order multi-agent systems with sampled data information. Some generic consensus criteria for such algorithm over undirected fixed and switching network topologies are derived analytically. It is shown that the second order multi-agent systems can achieve consensus under mild instantaneous network connectivity. The theoretical results shows that the consensus state are only determined by the sampling period and the velocity damping gain. Subsequently, numerical simulations further illustrate and visualize the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithms.
