Abstract :
To analyze the structure characteristics of the diesel engine crankshaft, a three-dimensional parametric modeling technology was developed based on UG/OPEN GRIP language programming. By inputting given parameters, an accurate crankshaft 3D model can be built quickly and correctly. This will greatly improve the modeling efficiency and quality of the crankshaft and prepare for the subsequent finite element analysis of crankshaft. This paper introduced the GRIP language development process and the implementation method in detail. A case of single cylinder S195 diesel engine crankshaft was employed to show the process of 3D parametric modeling based on UG/OPEN GRIP.
