Abstract :
In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a 3D game engine-WGE, which is based on open and cross-platform APIs. WGE includes Kernel, SceneManager, Renderer, Animation, GUI, HCI, Audio, Font, Image, Network, Math and Logger modules. WGE has the characteristics of easy to expand, easy to test, easy to port and low coupling etc. What´s more a script language-wgeScript is implemented and integrates all modules into a complete engine.
