Abstract
This paper proposes a design of a hybrid renewable power system with adaptive controller. It assumes simultaneous operation of wind turbines, PV cells and fuel cells. Mathematical model for the entire system is represented in the form of a transfer function. Adaptation mechanism is based on local parametric optimization where performance criterion minimizes a function of the error between the responses of disturbed (actual) and reference systems. Obtained solution leads to excellent dynamic characteristics with a very low total harmonic distortion. MATLAB simulation confirms the efficiency of proposed control method.
