Abstract :
Infrared vidicon is used as a sensor of NFP (near field pattern) method which evaluates lasers and optical fibers in the near infrared region. But this conventional infrared vidicon carries a fixed pattern noise owing to itself. This paper reports to study the origin of noise, aid to develop new infrared vidicon to prevent such a noise. As a result, new infrared vidicon can be used for the accurate observations of intensity profile of infrared laser beam
