Abstract
The paper presents a plane-separating based object displaying method to cope with the problems that the 3D reconstruction results are not satisfyingly good when the feature points are not enough. The proposed method could be applied in various occasions such as 3D mesh generation and display of the primitive objects. The proposed method first separates the 3D feature points by classifying the different feature points into different planes, and then generates the mesh according to the classified feature points. Eventually, the linear algorithm based inside-plane texture extension or NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) surface based extension within planes will be adapted to fill the holes and flaws of the reconstructed targets. The experiments show that the proposed method could display the reconstructed targets in a quality way, and has a lively object model.
