Abstract
The problem of a monopole antenna above a finite ground plane, is formulated as an integral equation and solved using the moment method (MM). The input impedance, the current distribution on the monopole and on the two surfaces of the disk, and the radiation pattern are computed for various dimensions of both the monopole and the disk
