Abstract
This paper describes an automated and economic system for measurement of the current-voltage characteristics of any solar cell in any environment. It is based on a personal computer (PC), a data acquisition card (DAQ) and a simple electronic circuit. This system is not only a quality measurement system but also very inexpensive. Additionally, the current-voltage characteristics measurement system is designed to respond to different voltages of any solar cell that are both positive and negative and measure the corresponding current intensities.
