Abstract :
The hardware-in-the-loop simulation, which can perform simulation study by placing the needed actual control object in the loop of the simulation system and verify the actual control effect of the control strategy rapidly, is a real-time simulation technology for actual process. In this paper, based on the dSPACE(digital Signal Processing and Control Engineering) hardware-in-the-loop simulation technology, the on-line parameters self-tuning algorithm of the servo control system based on genetic algorithm has been put forward and real-time simulation of the proposed algorithm has been performed by using MATLAB/Simulink modelling system and dSPACE system´s hardware and software environment. The simulation results show that the proposed servo control parameters setting based on genetic algorithm are highly robust and hardware-in-the-loop simulation is a quick way to verify and improve the control algorithms.
